The NUS High School badminton CCA was set up in 2005. We aim to sharpen our skills to develop a high quality school badminton team to compete in various badminton tournaments and achieve awards. Our team members regularly compete in various tournaments, such as the West Zone inter-School Badminton Championships as well as the Pilot Pen Schools individual Badminton Championships.

Our training sessions are conducted every Monday and Friday afternoon. We strive to improve our badminton skills through training the following main aspects of badminton, including: footwork, control, speed, accuracy, tactics and fitness. Through our four core values: teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership and resilience, we aim to build the character of our members. We also learn the values of integrity and self discipline through the sport. All of us will become leaders in all aspects; no matter whether in play or at work. Through taking part in competitions and tournaments, we hope to improve our skills, strengthen our sportsmanship and promote our team spirit. We also learn to give back to the community by participating in VIA projects with external organizations.
