Journalism Club

If you want to see your name in print, or have always wanted to know what it's like to be published, then look no further than the Journalism Club.

We're responsible for the key publications in NUS High, such as the school newsletter (EPITOME) and the school Yearbook. We're also the key players behind special publications during events like the SIMC (Singapore International Mathematics Challenge) held every 2 years.
The club consists of dedicated and enthusiastic students who have a passion for writing and a head for good design and layout.
Members are exposed to a whole spectrum of skills necessary to make it in the newsroom; such as writing, reporting, conducting interviews, designing pages, etc.
During your time with the club, you can also expect to visit places like SPH (Singapore Press Holdings).
The Club also trains members intensively for the Straits Time School Newsletter Competition, for which we won a Silver Award in 2010, and a Merit Award in 2011.
