The theme for the Physics Learning Day is “Science for Life and Society”. This encapsulates the thrust of our Science education to provide students with strong fundamentals in Science for life, learning, citizenry and work.

The theme of Physics Learning Day 2019 “Science for Life and Society” is also the tagline for the goals of Science education in the revised Science Curriculum Framework https://subjects.opal.moe.edu.sg/sciences/  

It is derived from Vision 2030 for Science Education in Singapore and achieved through developing in students, strong fundamentals in scientific knowledge, practices and values.
