An Overview

The Office of Research, Innovation & Enterprise aims to develop skills for research, innovation and enterprise in multiple disciplines, and to nurture students’ appreciation and understanding of the inter-disciplinary nature of knowledge and research so that they can be a polymath on the frontier of research and innovation in this fast-changing world.

It coordinates the Da Vinci Programme, a keystone six-year programme which complements the school’s core curriculum in developing the scientific minds of our students. It also coordinates all external research opportunities and programmes such as the MOE Overseas Science Attachment Programme, Nanyang Research Programme and Science Mentorship Programme.

The Office establishes partnerships with external organisations and works closely with our key partners such as include the Singapore Science Centre, DSO National Laboratories, DSTA and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). The office can tap on the resources and expertise of our partners to support our Da Vinci Programme including mentoring students who are doing research projects.

The Office promotes talks by distinguished scientists and organized visits to research laboratories for students to further explore their passion in math, science and research. The Office also provides opportunities for students to present their research projects locally and overseas so that they can network and exchange scientific ideas with the best scientific minds from other part of the world.
