SINGAPORE TEAM REMAIN CHAMPIONS IN THE 29TH INTERNATIONAL YOUNG PHYSICISTS' TOURNAMENT

The International Young Physicists’ Tournament (IYPT) is a competition among teams of students in their ability to solve complicated physics problems, to present solutions to these problems in a convincing way, and to defend them in scientific discussions called Physics Fights. The students are graded by a jury consisting of international experts.

This year, IYPT took place in Russia. Li Kang Chen and Markus Lenderman did Singapore and our school proud by being part of the national team to overcome 28 other national teams and clinch the 1st position to emerge as world champion. We are especially proud of their achievement as they are only in year 4 this year.
