The International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) is the most prestigious annual competitive programming competition for secondary school students.  The primary goal of the IOI is to stimulate interest in informatics and information technology. Students compete individually by solving a set of informatics problems during two competition days. The 2016 edition was held from  12 to 19 August 2016 in Russia. Singapore sent a total of 4 students to participate in the IOI 2016, obtaining 1 Gold medal, 2 Silver medals and  1 Bronze medals.

Two of our students have done the school and country proud by clinching 2 medals - 1 Gold and 1 Silver. This is the best performance for our school so far in this competition and they are also the top 2 scorers among Singapore Team.
