BEST PERFORMANCE SO FAR AT THE 48TH INTERNATIONAL CHEMISTRY OLYMPIAD

The International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) is an annual competition for the world’s most talented chemistry students at the high school level. Nations around the world send a team of four students, who are tested on their chemistry knowledge and skills in a five-hour written theoretical paper and another five-hour laboratory practical examination.

This year, the 48th IChO was held in Tbilisi Georgia, and more than 250 students from over 80 countries participated in the competition. The Singapore team comprised of four students, of which two were from NUS High. Nan Zhihan (Year 6) and Glen Goh Wee Zhuan (Year 6) have done the country and school proud by clinching a gold medal and a silver medal respectively in the competition. Congratulations!
