NUS High School Wins Singapore Junior Water Prize 2014
The Singapore Junior Water Prize is a national competition to pick a winning team in the Open category to represent Singapore to vie for the international Stockholm Junior Water Prize in Sweden. The Under 15 category is targeted to encourage younger students to take an interest in water and environmental issues.
The Singapore competition is organised by the Lien Foundation and Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and supported by the PUB, Singapore's national water agency.
Heng Teng Wei won 2nd prize in the Open category, with a monetary prize amount of $1000 while Sui Yuan, Panchami and Vernicia won the 3rd prize in the Under 15 category, with a team monetary prize of $500.
Each prize winner also won $75 worth of book vouchers each.
