NUS High School wins Overall 1st Prize at Singapore Amazing Flying Machines Competition
The Singapore Amazing Flying Machines Competition (SAFMC) is the largest flying machine competition in Singapore, with over 300 teams taking part in 2014. This is the sixth time the competition is being run. In this competition, students in teams work to design, construct and fly planes with different missions to be accomplished. In order to do well, teams have to come up with plane designs that are aerodynamically sound and which can successfully carry out set missions. The event took place between 11 and 21 March 2014.
This year, one of our teams has come in Overall First in the Radio Controlled category.
