NUS High School Clinches 4 Gold, 5 Silver, 3 Bronze and 1 Highly Commended Awards at The United Kingdom Biology Challenge
The United Kingdom Biology Challenge is a competition that promotes students’ interest in Biology beyond the school curriculum and stimulates their curiosity about the natural world. This competition is opened to pupils who are 13 to15 years old internationally and NUS High School students with an interest in Biology are encouraged to participate in this event. Besides nurturing students’ interest and challenging them, this competition also acts as a junior version of the British Biology Olympiad, raising its profile and encouraging participation. This is an online competition which consists of two 30-minute papers to provide schools with flexibility in its administration and maximize the participation. This year, more than 30,000 students world-wide took part in the competition over March period. This is the first time our school participated in this competition. All 13 students who took part in the competition did the school proud.
