NUS High School Clinches 2nd Position in National Science Challenge 2014 (NSC 2014)
The National Science Challenge is jointly organised by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research and the Science Centre Singapore, with support from the Ministry of Education.
Launched in 2004, the National Science Challenge aims to promote science among students and the local public. The national schools science competition provides a fun and informal learning experience for the participants and promotes science education.
NSC provides a platform for secondary 3 students to challenge themselves in the knowledge and skills of Mathematics and Sciences. It also seeks to promote the excitement in learning and doing Mathematics and Sciences as well as to identify and develop these talents.
This year, our team of 4 students clinched the 1st runner up position. This is the best performance for NUS High School in the past three years.
