Asian Youth Netball Championships 2013

The Asian Youth Netball Championships is held once every two years and is the pinnacle of netball competitions for 21 & Under National Netball Teams in the region. This year, there were 10 participating Asian countries. The event took place between 30 June and 7 July 2013.

The Singapore team played against Thailand (win: 65-20), Nepal (win: 109-4), Maldives (win: 85-8), Sri Lanka (lose: 40-63), Malaysia (lose: 32-52) and Hong Kong (win: 57-27) during the competition. The Singapore team eventually emerged third in the championships.

Results for the Asian Youth Netball Championships:  

1st: Malaysia 

2nd: Sri Lanka

3rd: Singapore 

4th: Hong Kong  

Our student, Tan Shi Ni is one of the representatives for Singapore 21 and Under Netball National Team that participated in the Asian Youth Netball Championships 2013 in Brunei Darussalam. She received a bronze medal.
