Singapore Amazing Flying Machines Competition

The SAFMC is the largest flying machine competition in Singapore, with over 300 teams taking part in 2013, the fifth time that the competition is being run. In this competition, students in teams work to design, construct and fly planes that have to accomplish different missions.

In order to do well, teams have to come up with plane designs that are aerodynamically sound and which can successfully carry out set missions.

This year, one of our teams has come in Overall First in the Unpowered Glider category.

Results:

Overall 1st prize, Category B (unpowered Glider)
2nd prize, Creativity, Category B
1st Prize, Aesthetics, Category B
