Singapore Science and Engineering Fair 2013

The Singapore Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF) is an annual competition held at the national level, where student researchers aged between 15 and 21 years old exhibit research projects completed in the past year. Each project is judged by 6 assessors, who are professors and researchers from local universities, polytechnics as well as research institutes. Selected SSEF Gold winners will represent Singapore to compete internationally at the prestigious Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF).

Owing to our strong research culture, NUS High School encourages all students embarking on a research project to participate in SSEF. Under the dedicated guidance of our Principals and teachers, 122 research projects from NUS High School joined SSEF this year, with 60 finalist projects clinching a total of 4 Gold, 6 Silver, 6 Bronze and 6 Merit.
