National Arts Council’s Pocketful of Pantun Competition
The Pocketful of Pantun competition is all about the playfulness of the pantun form. Compact, its lines carry a depth of meaning that belies its simplicity and charm. Participants used traditional symbolism and complex allusions to convey meaning through an association of ideas or feelings.
Clara Yeo Zhe Xuan (M13604) and Ansel Lim (M13608) won Merit Prizes (2nd place) in their respective categories in compettition with students of top IP schools, several junior colleges and polytechnics.
