7th International Olympiad of Astronomy and Astrophysics

The International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics, or IOAA, is an annual event in which high school students from around the world compete against each other, solving theoretical, analytical and observational problems in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics. It is one of two major international astronomy Olympiads. This is the third consecutive year that Singapore has sent a team to the Olympiad, and the third year NUS High has been part of the national team, and the first time one of our students has achieved a gold. There were 182 participants this year.

The event took place between 27/7/13 and 5/8/13.
