NUS High strikes Gold in 8th Australian Informatics Olympiad

35 students took part in the 8th Australian Informatics Olympiad (AIO) 2012. They produced our best performance so far, winning a total of 8 Gold, 15 Silver and 9 Bronze.

Our school also won the most number of Gold Awards and produced 2 perfect scorers. The award winners are:

Background

Organised by the Australian Mathematics Trust, AIO is a programming event and is used as the major basis for selection of students to attend training and form a team to represent Australia at the International Olympiad in Informatics. Participating schools are from Australia and Singapore.
