NUS High School attains a hat-trick at the Singapore Math Project Festival 2012

For the third consecutive year, NUS High School produced the top project in the Singapore Mathematics Project Festival (SMPF). This year, half of the projects in the finals came from NUS High School and all won awards. Overall, we obtained 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze.
For the Senior section, Zhou Jingqi and Li Chenglei (both from M12507) continued our school’s golden record with their project titled “A General Method of Flattening Convex Prismatoid into Flat Sheet”. The project also won the Foo Kean Pew Memorial Prize, which is awarded to the top Gold Award project.
Another Gold Award came from Lee Kian Wee (M12505) and Yeo Yao Rui (M12507). Their project delved into List Assignment Problems in Graph Theory.
