NUS High School Achieves Best Performance Ever at Creative & Heuristic Applications Of Science 2012
CHAOS is a science competition co-organised by the Gifted Education Branch and the Faculty of Science (National University of Singapore). Since its inception in 2000, it has been supported by Defence Science & Technology Agency and DSO National Laboratories. The competition took place on 23 May 2012.
CHAOS 2012 is open to Year 1/ Year 2 pupils from all Secondary and Integrated Programme Schools. Pupils will be required to utilise higher order thinking and critical analysis.
This year, NUS High School Team 1 clinched the First runner-up and Best Presentation Award while Team 2 was awarded with the Honorary Mention Award for Biology. This is the best performance for NUS High School ever since participating in the competition.
NUS High School CHAOS Team 1 won the Best Presentation Award and First Runner-up. The team consists of the following students:

- Bianca Udella Djiongianto (M12204)
Team 2 was awarded an Honorary Mention (Biology). The team comprises of the following students:
