NUS High Girls were top Singaporeans at 11th China Girls Mathematical Olympiad

The 11th China Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad was held in Guangzhou, China from August 8 to 12, 2012. For the 4th consecutive year, NUS High girls have improved on their results. This year, they won 2 Silvers and 2 Bronzes and the top 2 Singaporeans are from NUS High. Here are their results:

Background

The China Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (CGMO) has grown over the years to become the female version of the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). The best female Olympiad representatives from countries around the world compete against China’s best females in the CGMO for top honours in this annual competition.
