NUS High School Clinches 5 Gold, 13 Silver and 10 Bronze at the 7th Australian Informatics Olympiad 2011

The 7th Australian Informatics Olympiad 2011 took place on 1st September 2011.
 
Out of 34 students participated in the competition, 28 students clinched an award. NUS High School won 5 Gold, 13 Silver and 10 Bronze.
 
Our school also won the most number of Gold Awards and produced 4 perfect scorers.

Background


Australian Informatics Olympiad (AIO)

Organised by the Australian Mathematics Trust, AIO is a programming event and is used as the major basis for selection of students to attend training and form a team to represent Australia at the International Olympiad in Informatics. Participating schools are from Australia and Singapore.
 

Significance

The is the best performance for NUS High School since we started taking part in this competition.
