A total of 82 students from NUS High School took part in the 2010 Australian Mathematics Competition. It is organized by the Australian Mathematics Trust and tests its participants on problem solving skills.

Four of our students did the school proud by being placed in the top 0.3% of the competition, which received entries from various other countries, e.g. Bulgaria, China and India.

They were all awarded a prize award each:

  • Guay Yi Rong (M10202) and Nathaniel Leon (M10204) from the Junior section.
  • Jonathan Ang (M10301) and Lim Jeck (M10303) from the Intermediate section.

In addition, Lim Jeck also obtained the Prudence Award. 14 other students obtained High Distinctions.
