NUS High School student bags top position in Science Chronicles Competition

A student of NUS High School has won 1st place in Category B of the A*STAR Institute of High-Performance Computing-sponsored Science Chronicles science fiction writing competition for the second year in a row. Annabeth Leow of M10508 won this year with her story entitled “Of Uncanny Valleys and the Beings Therein.” The contest, which aims to foster a new generation of scientific thinkers and writers, drew over 150 entries from 30-odd schools.
 
We won the following awards:

Category B: IP Schools Year 5 and 6 students

Category A: Secondary 3 and 4 students
Consolation Prize Clara Yeo M10305
