The soccer CCA is one of the most popular CCAs in NUS High, if not the most popular; membership has seen itself grow from a small group of just over 10 individuals to a population of 87 members. Soccer relieves the mind from stress and improves motor skills. Our players have participated in various competitions such as National Interschool Tournament and National Street Soccer League to name a few.

That being said, the soccer CCA welcomes players from all levels and comprises of individuals with a strong passion for soccer. Our experienced coaches will equip you with strategies to outwit your opponents and play effectively as a team. Team bonding is also an important part for this CCA.

As of today, we have 3 divisions for the boys. The Year 1 and 2 students are members of the ‘C’ Boys Division. The ‘C’ Boys Division is composed of 20 students. They can play in the Nike Premier Cup Soccer Competition which is held every year.  They train on Fridays only. The Year 3 and 4 students are in the ‘B’ Boys Division, which is composed of 21 players. They compete in the prestigious National SSSC West Zone B Division tournament. Training is on Mondays and Fridays. As for the Year 5 and 6 students, they are in the ‘A’ Boys Division, which is composed of 27 players. They compete in the prestigious National SSSC West Zone A tournament. Trainings are on Mondays and Fridays.

During the school holidays, the students who are free and reside in Singapore can join special soccer camps and training sessions organised especially for the ‘A’ and ‘B’ Boy Divisions. Moreover, throughout the year, friendly games between different schools are also organized. This is to ensure that you can practice the skills you have been learning and put them into practice against teams from other institutions. Competition is fierce and stringent, but the team members are all rewarded for their hard work.
