NUS High School Achieves Excellent Results in the Canadian Computing Competition 2014

18 students took part in the Canadian Computing Competition 2014 organised by the University of Waterloo, Canada on 26th February 2014. This is the first time NUS High students took part in the programming competition. Overall, there were 1190 Senior contestants and 1822 Junior contestants from various parts of the world participating in the event including China, Vietnam and Hong Kong. Seventeen of our students had done the school proud by being awarded Certificates of Distinction. Their excellent performance showed that our students had acquired the necessary computing and problem solving skills to be among the best in the world.
