Academic Support & Pastoral Care
The Boarding School provides a protected time for boarders to do their homework during term time in the form of compulsory "Study Time". Study time is from Monday to Thursday, 9pm to 10:30pm and boarders are only exempted on weekends and scheduled School Holidays.
Boarders’ rooms are located from the 2nd to 12th floors. The Boarding office and common facility rooms are on the 1st floor. Boarders’ floors are segregated by gender and organized by clusters. Each cluster houses from between 16 to 20 boarders and has either a Boarding Advisor who is a teacher in NUS High School or a Boarding Councillor who is an undergraduate at NUS as mentor.
