Singapore International Mathematics Challenge
Welcome to SIMC
SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL MATHEMATICS CHALLENGE (SIMC) 23-27 May 2016, Singapore
aims to provide students with the opportunity to be innovative,
creative and to develop a global mindset
in the pursuit of knowledge. The biennial event allows students to showcase and pit their skills in a rigorous
competition in the application of mathematics. Students will have the opportunities to interact in social and
|SIMC also aims to provide a platform for professional exchange of good practices in Math education
different countries through the sharing sessions. It provides opportunities for mathematics educators to engage in professional discourse and establish and develop ties with counterparts from around the world.
Theme of challenge has been updated by Ministry of Education as "Communication".

Prof Imre Bennett Leader from Trinity College, Cambridge University is the Chief Judge of SIMC. He leads a panel of distinguished judges comprising professionals from various universities, research institutes and scientific organizations.
